- Meet the band -
Matthew Nolan
Lead vocal, Guitar, Footdrums, Harmonica
Musical Background: Alt. Rock, Classic Rock, Blues
"I have many years of classic/alternative rock and blues under my belt. I can play guitar, footdrums and sing at the same time. Unless I'm playing harmonica, of course."
Born originally in Colorado, Matt soon moved to the small town of Brewster, Wa, where he first learned how to play guitar at the age of 14, even writing original music a year later. He hopes to reunite people through his music into ONE WORLD TRIBE that all dance to the beat of LOVE and bring back Jimi Hendrix idea of, ELECTRIC CHURCH! His alternate rock roots soon dug deep into 60s & 70s rock, where he then discovered older folk blues leading as far back as the 1930s. From bookings down on the Seattle waterfront to venues across many West Coast college towns, he has been performing covers of folk, classic rock, and blues on the road for many years since, becoming a proficient musician with a emotive voice that lets you know he feels the songs he sings.
Randi Mueck
Bass Guitar, Vocal, Percussion
Musical Background: Country, Classic Rock, Classical Music
"I enjoy playing bass and singing along with Matt, especially when I can play in blues scale. I can also play percussion if our set is really stripped down for street events."
Born in the fertile farm lands of Northern California, Randi picked up her first musical instrument, a flute, at the young age of 8. Learning the piccolo and trombone along the way, she spent many of her younger years performing classical and rock music in concerts and parades. More recently, she picked up the bass guitar and added harmonies/lead vocals to accompany Matt in his musical vision, making a perfect accompaniment to the band's overall feel and style of music.
